Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.
If you’ve explored my website, you’ve probably noticed that my work spans several different worlds. I’m an author, consultant, professor, blogger, and lifelong student. While each role looks different on the surface, they’re all connected by one thing: curiosity.
I’ve always been fascinated by people—how we think, how we lead, how we build, how we grow, and how we navigate both success and hardship. Whether I’m writing a book, teaching a class, consulting with an organization, or reflecting through a blog post, I’m ultimately asking the same question:
What can we learn from this?
This page isn’t my résumé. It’s simply a glimpse into the experiences, values, and interests that continue to shape both my life and my work.
Family
I was raised by two loving, hardworking parents whose examples continue to influence the woman I strive to be today. They taught me the value of integrity, perseverance, personal responsibility, and serving others with humility.
Although my father is no longer with us, his influence remains part of my story. I hope my life reflects the lessons he and my mother worked so hard to teach.
Family has always been one of my greatest blessings. I’m incredibly proud to be a big sister, and I remain grateful for the love, encouragement, and support we’ve shared throughout the years.

Curiosity Never Graduates
Learning has never felt like homework to me.
I’m fascinated by leadership, business, history, genealogy, theology, culture, and the countless ways people and societies evolve over time. If I don’t know something, there’s a good chance I’ll spend the evening researching it.
I’m also continually learning new languages—not because I expect to become fluent in all of them, but because every language offers another way to understand people and the world around us. As I often tell my students, my goal is to learn enough to get myself into—and back out of—a little trouble.
Life Beyond Work
Before we go any further… this isn’t a dating profile. 🤣
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me reading, traveling, tackling a puzzle, enjoying a board game with family or friends, experimenting with a new recipe, or working on another creative project.
I also enjoy hiking, exploring new places, and occasionally disappearing down the rabbit hole of whatever topic has captured my curiosity that week.
And yes…there are still a few photos floating around from my motorsports and Airsoft adventures. You’ll have to dig through the archives if you’re curious. 😉
Faith
My faith in Christ is the foundation of my life, even though my journey hasn’t been without questions, challenges, and seasons of growth.
Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate that faith isn’t about having every answer. It’s about continuing to grow in wisdom, humility, compassion, and grace.
I hope the work I create reflects those values. Whether someone shares my beliefs or not, I want every person who visits my corner of the internet to know they’re welcome here and worthy of dignity, kindness, and respect.
Like everyone else, I’m still learning. Still growing. Still becoming.

Professionally
Today, I have the privilege of working across three professions that I genuinely love.
Author. Consultant. Professor.
Each one strengthens the others.
Writing allows me to explore ideas more deeply.
Consulting gives me the opportunity to help organizations solve complex challenges and transform strategy into meaningful action.
Teaching keeps me learning alongside my students as I prepare the next generation of leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs.
Whether I’m writing about leadership, relationships, faith, responsibility, or the systems that shape our lives, my goal is always the same: to leave people thinking a little more deeply than they did before.

Let’s Stay Connected
Life is far too interesting to stop learning from one another.
While I’m not on social media nearly as often as I once was, I still enjoy sharing new writing, research, photographs, and occasional behind-the-scenes glimpses.
I would love to connect with you on Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky, or Facebook.
Thank you for taking a little time to get to know me. I hope something you find here encourages you, challenges you, or simply reminds you that curiosity is one of life’s greatest gifts.
