I share this post with every woman and man who have been on the receiving end of these three words. Let’s join together to bring awareness to domestic violence. It is not just a woman’s issue or man’s issue. It’s a human issue, that affects all of us!
This is for the many who have been abused and blamed for things that are not their fault!!
I saw this posting…
and memories just flooded my mind.
Remembering abusive words spoken…
and things I thought were left behind.
“It’s your fault!! It’s all your fault!”
were words I’d frequently hear…
with a finger pointing at me…
and anxiety rising with fear.
