I want you to think about the last time you did not do as well as you would have liked on a project, meal, presentation, quiz or exam, in a relationship, or whatever.
What did you learn from that experience about yourself?
What could you have done differently to have a different outcome?
If you have the chance to try again, will you?
It’s not the failure that you should focus on, but whether or not you make the decision to get back up and press forward. The most successful people aren’t the ones who don’t fail, the most successful get back up and keep striving forward after each and every failure. The insult and destruction of self isn’t in the failure, it’s in giving up.
